Some of the more enthusiastic reds will know this name very well by now. A young 17 year old scot who Alex holds as one of the real prospects for the future. He is the next big thing and will, if his progress continues, live up to the praise of Alex and the men in the know. Was wondering what you lot reckoned (if you've seen him heard about him) and when he might be making an appearance in the Premiership maybe?

Neil Thompson will tell you more but in the meantime he was down to make his first team debut in the final match of the 2000/2001 season at Aston Villa but was deemed too young etc. Since then despite playing for Scotland under 19, he has had a catalogue of injuries which has set his career back somewhat. He is currently out with a stress fracture of the foot, I think.

the guys more injured than Darren Anderton!
when hes fit id like to see him sent on loan somewhere to see how he cuts it.

Yep, he's been injured all season! He should play in our reserves for a while before putting him on loan, as the reserve games are a bit less physical and this boy needs no more injuries.

He never played because he was on a schoolboy contract, and PL rules say schoolboys cannot play in the PL.
