There's alot of talk in here and in the transfer forum about the need to sign another striker. in all honesty, from what i've seen and read about him, i wouldn't mind seeing Danny being recalled from loan and given a chance. I think he would be a good partner for RVN, he smaller and quicker with a great first touch. It would be worth a try and if it didn't work out then look to sign a striker during the next ransfer window. Why should we go looking for new players when we have them on our doorstep.

My thoughts exactly
;)

i don't know exactly what's a priority right now as far as signings, but i would guess that a defender and goalkeeper are higher than a striker...
i havent got to see webber play yet, but i'm all for giving the young lads a chance...

My own view is that he should stay on Loan for the whole season (unless we suffer lots of injuries) and then see how he does. If he scores lots of goals and plays well, then he is good enough for a first team squad chance, if not, put him down with the likes of Healy as a nearly, but not quite good enough player.

Another year in the reserves would have done little or nothing for his development. Nor would warming the bench as a fourth choice striker. I hope he does well at Watford. He's off to a great start.

Didn't he spend most of last year there on loan? How about give him some sub appearances in the first team, and some cup starts.

I agree. He was on loan at Watford last year. I'm worried that if he may think he's not needed at OT and want to move. We risk losing a player of some potential
