Just finished watching the first episode.

looks OK. But over hyped.

yeah watched the first two now will probably see it through but they will stretch what is basically a film storyline over 22 episodes seems to be a trend ie heroes, lost etc these runs could be a lot shorter .
i do like glenn close's character more rounded than the usual super-bitch.

seconded. had watched up to 3 episodes now and starting to lose interest already...maybe they'll have a slow start and hopefully things will speed up a bit soon.... Patty Hewes is definitely not a woman you want to mess with!

saw the first episode a long time back .. got bored

thats supposed to be the 'hook' episode ,i kinda wanna know how the bright young thing goes from hero to zero but not sure if i want to wait that long to find out.

Really getting into this programme now. Is anyone else watching it? I could be though that I have a thing for Rose Byrne!

Great show. Watched the first five episodes last night, and I'm hooked. Close is always watchable, but the whole story has some nice twists and turns.

Just started watching the second episode of the second season. The usual pitfalls of American series' are present. The main character has lost weight, become more tanned and groomed and is overacting terribly. Do all these actresses see themsleves on screen and think they look like shit, or something?

What do mean, the usual pitfalls, top American series are the best by some distance, that said I highly doubt this is one of them.

Nah, I meant how the characters suddenly become that bit more attractive and stylish as the seasons pass, and the show that bit glossier.

American drama is pound-for-pound the best though, you're right about that.

Fair enough, does Glen Close look more Tom Selleck as the seasons go though>

Saw the first episode of Season one. Looked good.

Is it worth continuing with? Or does the season turn shit

Season 1 is good. Season 2 is no better than decent and Season 3 is quite poor.

Well good enough. I'll finish this season and catch up on House and watch a bit of Lie To Me and by then Dexter and the rest should be out for fall :D

I've had this series with me for years now, I've not watched a single episode though.

It's in line after Mad Men, Deadwood, Carnivale, Extras, Sons Of Anarchy.

Wow. Long list there. What you watching right now though?

I watched the 1st season...thought it was great...

But then gave up on it. I then lost patience and looked up the rest of it on the net.

Like many others I thought the first season was great.

But the last two haven't been so and the last one in particular was average. It's probably the only show where I cheer on the "bad guys" just because Paddy Hewes is so detestable.

Yeah already find myself hating her from the first episode onwards.

Finished season 1. Was really good.

Will give season 2 a try now. Hope it's not all as bad as people are saying it is

It really has been piss poor this season. How they're getting it so wrong with such a good cast is beyond me.

Anyone watching Season 5? It actually has quite an interesting premise. A Wikileaks type situation arises with the Assange character being played by Ryan Phillipe.
