Criteria Draft

Welcome to the criteria draft, there are 16 criteria which you will be randomly assigned each round and the player you select has to meet it. You will not be allocated the same criteria twice in a row. Criteria has been designed to not be too research heavy and more of a relaxed fun approach. That's all.

Rules:

1. Snake style drafting
2. 6 hours per pick (8 hours if pick left with another drafter)
3. 12 picks, your 11th or 12th pick has to play in the second round if you get through (you cannot select more than one GK)
4. Player should have 1 full game video available.
5. Draws to be decided using goalkeeper strength according to Redcafe rankings
6. You can only pick one player within the redcafe top 10 from each of the following categories/combined categories:

Goalkeepers
Ball-playing centre backs AND Stoppers
Right Backs
Left Backs
Midfield Playmakers
Box to Box & Defensive Midfielders
Wingers AND number 10's
Forwards AND Strikers

7. You need to provide evidence for meeting the criteria for each pick, no AI generated images are allowed for those relevant criteria.

Reinforcements:​

Format TBC

• Quarterfinals (QFs): Each team will get 2 reinforcements.
• Semifinals (SFs): Each team will get 2 reinforcements.
• Finals: Each team will get 1 reinforcement.

Criteria List:

1. Regaine - pick a player who has been bald at some point in their career
2. November Rain - pick a player who was born in the month of November
3. Super sub - pick a player that has been on the bench in a Champions League final
4. Animal advocate - pick a player photographed or has video footage with a pet or any other animal
5. Bearded genius - pick a player who has grown a beard at some point in their career (stubble doesn't count)
6. Marketable - pick a player that has been featured in an advertisement or video game cover
7. Analyst - pick a player who has done punditry or commentated on TV or radio
8. Club legend - pick a player with more than 300 appearances for a single club
9. Honour the dead - pick a player that has passed away
10. Modern gen - pick a player born after 1985
11. Rebel - pick a player who has been in trouble for off the field actions (can also be legal)
12. Imposing - pick a player who is 6 foot (183cm) or taller
13. Flowing - pick a player that has kept long hair (minimum shoulder length)
14. Chained - pick a player that played with the previous player selected
15. Journeyman - pick a player that has played for 5 or more clubs (only senior appearances count)
16. Favourite son - pick a player that has been selected 200 or more times by a single manager

Probably be more restrictive here. I'd suggest...

1. Not more than 3 players combined from these lists.
2. Losing teams first two picks not available for reinforcements.

If a player's outside of the top 10, then he's outside the restriction. The restriction only applies to player within the top 10 of any of those lists.
