The West Indies' tour of India starts in another week. There are going to be three tests and five ODI's. The squad for the tests were released two days ago. If we win the test series, will it help us regain the first spot?

fwiw, am glad bhajji's been dropped. has totally lost his ability to pick wickets of late for india. Ashwin should do well.

Chanderpaul's runs will decide the test. If he gets in, they could win. If he doesn't, we'll win.
 
The most pleasing aspect of this test match is that Harbhajan will stay away from the team.

Yep.

Amazing how the other three bowlers on that English trip i.e R.P, Mishra and Harbhajan aren't chosen at all despite all of them being fully fit. Good to know that Ojha and Ashwin has been given the chance. They've both bowled much much better than Harbhajan in last two-three years.

The most annoying thing about this test match is that Ashwin chose to defend on the penultimate ball. Trying to be too smart.
 
Should have won it. Lost our way after sehwag's dismissal really.
 
Well that was a close first ODI. Good job Sharma. Even though the top order was poor, it was impressive to go win when you were 59 for 5.
