Dear mods (esp Sultan),

Please can we have a designated cricket forum. The pavillion is hidden away behind other sport, and is way too far from us. THe ashes forum was good, and if all cricket was posted in it would be viewed quite regularly.

Unfortunately Malc, besides myself and to a certain extent Wibbs non of the other mods are remotely interested in cricket - besides to be fair this is mostly a dedicated football forum.

I like yourself see the benefits of a cricket forum as it does create traffic, we do seem to have a good following. It would be especially beneficial during the close season and big tournaments.

I would say we will just have to get our mouse to work slightly harder.

I think that at the moment only the Ashes is big enough to demand a dedicated forum for a few weeks.

We're not a CE forum either, yet we've got a seperate forum for politics/current events. I think we should have seperate cricket forum. The other one worked very well.

I bet there were more posters using the Ashes forum than the CE forum, Sults. Oh well, not much we can do.

I did some number crunching, we had two cricket forums running at the same time and both were busier during tests than the CE forum.

Suffering from flu.

I was baffled by the decision to play an extra batsman in place of Bhaji. The wicket cried out for an extra spinner.

Spastic team selection cost us victory.

I throw my muscular 12 stone weight behind the idea of a dedicated cricket forum. It's definately more worthy than current events, and in my experience with some of the retards who fester there, the transfer forum too...
 
The Ashes forum was good. There was more sensible talk and discussion in that forum over few weeks than theres been in the Football Forum this entire season.
