Crespo To Spurs? Not Man Utd!

According to several reports, including football365, spurs will begin talks with lazio to take crespo on a yr long loan with option to buy clause!

Spurs are so much of an inferior club to us, we need a striker, we don't want to splash any large amounts now after signing RIO, lazio owe us money, we can provide euro football they can't, we can pay better wages, my point is why are we not in for him giving the circumstances! Ive been saying this for a while now, take Crespo for a season long loan with option to buy. If he suceeds, then we buy him, if not we ship him back to lazio and get Ronaldinho or Cisse next season! surely this makes sense bearing in mind the current situation.

Spurs story is probably just speculation, Ive also heard inter mentioned, but the case still remains why we haven't gone for this option, as we really do need another w/class goal threat!
 
A one year loan deal would suit us it has to be said - wish we'd done the same with Veron. ;)
