Does anybody remember this television programme starring Robbie Coltrane as a cop in Manchester?

I am looking for clips on the net of a particular episode that starred Robert Carlyle as a murderous, racist Liverpool supporter but I am not having any joy. There is a scene where Carlyle, during his interrogation, begins to chant 'L-I-V-E-R-P-DOUBLE O-L LIVERPOOL FC' at Robbie Coltrane who responds by getting in Carlyle's face and shouting 'UNITED! UNITED! UNITED!' until Carlyle shuts up.

I remember really laughing my head off when I first saw that scene. I would be very grateful if someone could have a look for it and post the link if you can find it. I've already tried TV Links, Stage 6 and YouTube and haven't found anything.

IIRC that was in the second season...was available on mininova a while back....might have needed to sign up with the torrent provider.
 
Brilliant series, and a very good episode. Didn't he have a load of matches for ever Hillsborough victim and was running around trying to kill that same number of.. was it coppers? Or something like that?
 
Coppers wasn't it...in revenge for Hillsborough....tried to bomb the police station....started with killing the shopkeeper with his dads bayonet. Nutter.

I thought he started shouting "Celtic! Celtic! Celtic!", not "United!". And he doesn't shout it in his face until he shuts up, he shouts it as a fellow football chant to give Robert Carlyle some common ground so that he'll talk to him.

I just finished watching it and I think your right, Count. Didn't sound like "United!" to me.

It's funny though because when I read Moz's original post I remembered it that way too.

I thought he was a Leeds fan when he did that murder.
