Could we have polls back?

Some of the more recent Cafers may not be aware, but oh...a couple of years ago the site used to have a semi regular poll on the homepage.

I propose that we bring them back [on the homepage if possible or the respective forum].

I cannot deny that i start my fair share of them around here but even so.

We could have one a week, at least during the season, wouldn't necessarily have to be United related simply a hot topic at that time in the world of football.

The mods could determine the question or opt with one that members submit for consideration.

Yes, I remember when we used to have regular polls. Good idea, IMO. Sadly this would require members of the Admin/Mods fraternity to actually have to do work and being fat useless pigeons, they are quite averse to it. Maybe if you tried bribing them with some birdseed...

Every other thread would be a poll. It happened at a different site I post on, and they started off being very liberal towards the needs of their posters. Suffice to say, that privilege was soon removed.

Yes but I'm all for a random poll at the homepage which could then also be stickied in the General. Could be random gibberish for all I care, but I miss that feature
