Could there be a cloud with a silver lining? Would some players be jumping to find a new club?

Other than TV rights parachute payments, are there other FFP "benefits" such as ignoring the previous season's accounts?

I'm sure we can force a fast track player clear out without the need for relegation. Just need better directors.

It is also possible that the better players would leave and shit players would remain because no other clubs want them.

For some odd reason, talking about the possibility of relegation is not allowed on here.
Talking about it is fine, obsessing over it and turning the entire forum into a bunch of relegation-crazed nuts isn't

Relegation would decimate us, it's not the saviour people think it is

The goal is not to do it as fast as we can, but as smartly as we can to recoup value and get rid where we know we can improve the squad. That is better to happen over time.

I’m not too worried. If Zirkzee is out the door in January or the summer, it would be a sign that INEOS will do things differently and be way more ruthless.

So no, no need to suffer relegation to actually clear out players. It’s something we’ll do over the next few transfer windows, and it will take time to evolve the squad. If Amorim gets the time from INEOS and if INEOS are afforded the time from the fans is a different question
