Yeah, i know he's won f.a but you have to admit he has done a decent job with Villa considering the limited resouces he had there.

Put it this way, i would prefere him to O'neil any day.

For some reason I have a feeling the United board made the decision on the new manager long before Gregory quit - in my opinion Van Gaal made a gentlemen's agreement with United over a month ago to become the next manager.

I think the Utd board will appoint someone with experience/success in European competition. John Gregory does not meet this criteria.
