I have to show a begrudging respect there, I didn't stop believing till the last minute and I was still praying that you might tumble at the final hurdle but you beat Wigan with ease so what else can I say but well done. You took it to the wire but I'd say overall you deserved it more then us.

Yep Congrats indeed. Even if they had drawn or lost, we still needed to beat Stoke which we did not. Oh well ending the season with a draw is not the end of the world, but we'll be back.

Yeah, we lost to Stoke on the day, and Chelsea beat Wigan with ease, so you can't really argue against the results can you.

Watching their celebrations now, very tacky.

Congrats to Chelsea indeed, defeated Wigan comfortably in pressure. Excellent performance by John Terry also, his tackling was superb throughout the match, didn't looked like that he was going to concede a penalty or get a red card

Yeah, Terry never looked like getting a red card and Ashley Cole definitely wasn't a complete gay for the entire match. Wigan couldn't even mount a single attack, and Republic had his best game in goal for the renties too.

Congrats to Chelsea, inevitable winners, never looked like loosing it on the last day. Not even a bit.

A draw is a loss?

Yet another team Chelsea have put 7 past though. Deserving champions.

Yes, Terry is lifting the trophy with so much disbelief, it's almost as if it didn't happen.

But it did, because they beat Wigan convincingly.

What a convincing performance from Chelsea, no sign of nerves at all and what a touching moment at the end when Cashley got back with Cheryl

Yeah that's what got me, they never once played like it was the last game. Dominated from start to finish, there was never going to be any other result.

They didnt show any nervousness at all, and therefore didnt make any mistakes, especially their defence looked rock solid.

Man of the Match performance from the Big Man hardly put a foot wrong all game, also Drogba's composure in front of goal was amazing

Berbatov was shit....again.

Rooney being stretched off was sad :(

Is his World Cup in danger?

No official statements as of yet, but it looked horrible :(
Wasnt his day, Nani went all back to his old behaviours again too and feck me Berbatov must have already known that he will be sold in the summer the way he played yesterday.

City have already announced that they will be signing Kaka have sewing up fourth spot with two big thumpings of Spurs and West Ham.

They are going to draw and we shall beat Stoke 3-1 to collect our fourth consecutive title.

You heard it here first.

What are you lot on about? Chelsea played Liverpool today.

White text.

Congrats to Liverpool on getting that 6th spot as well, didn't think it would be possible, but you proved us wrong.

I thought until their first goal that Wigan might get something but then the floodgates have opened. Good goal from Rodallega though, pity it didn't make any difference in the end.

Malouda is a skillful player, once again he's proven to be able to break teams that set up defensively on his own. Drogba was kind of quiet but Anelka's performance more than makes up for that, I mean his first goal was fantastic piece of skill.

Terry did very well to vanquish the ghost of 2008 by stepping up to take that penalty in the 93rd minute to win the game for the Chavs. A deserving captain.

Well done to Chelsea.

I thought it was going to end up a draw when John Terry almost slipped in the 94th minute in front of the goal, but luckily he just managed to stay on his feet before the ball went into his own net.

On the brighter side though, Hargreaves completed a whole match for us the first time in donkeys year. He'll be like a new signing next season

Nah, I think Drogba wasn't at his best today. A single goal, when a game was already over, doesn't make him a world beater. :wenger:

You have to hold your hands up and say Terry's leadership and inspiring qualities were evident on today's showing. What an honest man he is, if everybody was as honest as John Terry, the world would be a better place.

I see Drogba finished the game with two legs.
