Yeah he did look decent in the highlights in fairness..Keller that is..
A long time without a goal in open play tho..its not all down to opposing teams keepers..
Owen did everything but score..still beating players as if they're not there, and did very well for the second goal..he'll come good
He should never take penalties tho

Owens body language for a couple of weeks now and especially yesterday shows a huge lack of confidence....you must be worried Davo.
A 50/50 success rate of penalties taken is pathetic - oh to have someone that never misses eh?

he saved shot after shot thats the best keeping proformance along with nantes away ive seen in a long time
yea owen passed the ball 4 yards along the ground after controlling it
well done
now if he could only put one of those 6 chances away

He'll come good, he's been here before and been written off before..
He shouldn't be taking penalties tho..I've never been happy with him doing so

Luckily we've got goals throughout the team, so his misses didn't cost us...
We don't need to rely on penalties

past his best....
sell him now, while there's still a change of a big transfer fee.

It should have been
Why wasn't it a pen when Rio handballed it?
Rio's lack of concentration was also shown when he gave the ball away to Keane, and relied on Bobo to save him

he's played very well in his last three matches.
don't worry.. he'll have scored enough goals, by the end the season..
i suggest you start panicking about Owens lack of goals and your defence........

So will our strikers Divo, difference is, Ruud and Ole have more than one trick up there sleeves. Oh yeah, Baros looks quite a good prospect.

I can't believe you're serious... there are at least 5 I'd prefer to Owen.

They'll improve, no doubt..
Much depends on RVN tho...and the difference is Owen has proven himself again and again...RVN has had one decent season in a top league..
RVN and OGS have more tricks than Owen?
and yes, Baros looks fantastic...

Panicing after our best start to a PL season?
Imagine how good we'll be when our best striker finds his form..

Bit of a contradiction here, Owen did everything but score, a long time without a goal in open play.
Get your act together Davo.

I'd rather be boring than 'exicting', at least I know what boring means.
