I personally cant believe how everyone has the arse already won the championship.... There is is every likelihood that we will beat them at old trafford....We will be really up for it.... All Ferguson hasd to say is 'do you want those bastards celebreating in front of your own fans?'...United to win 3-1....After that, the pressure on the arse to beat everton will be immense...they HAVE to beat Everton to win... a draw and its ours....so its not done and dusted...They wont find everton that easy after we break their winning streak..Lets be confident here....its not 99% sure, i d say its its closer to 65%

I'd say it's closer to 6.5%

Try to as objective as possible: In their final home match, Arsenal will never become anything less than 80% sure to beat a technically very poor team who has nothing to play for. Assuming we have 70% chance to beat Arsenal on Wednesday and 90% sure to win our last match, the chance we win the championship is 0.2x0.7x0.9x100%=12.6% ;)

Of Course we are goingto win the league, no problem ;)

My Heart tells me Manchester United, but my head says Arsenal for the double. They have won so many games on the bounce, and they have not lost an away game for ages, plus do you realy think that Everton will do Arsenal at Highbury?????

Giggzy, don't be calling me a Gooner, ICHK will get confused, and have to call me a dipper, 100's of times to give himself an erection, again.

Well, there's confidence and then there is (rightly so) pigs flying. We lost the league at so many points this season I cant count:
Lets see
1) Barthez gives 2 freebees to Henry
2) Newcastle steal the lead so many times, its embarassing
3) Losses to smaller teams (west ham, bolton) when even a draw would have won us the title
4) We settle for a draw against Liverpool and get beat in the final few minutes
5) Veron loses possession against 'Boro
Equals Game set and match......
BUT I am not complaining because I know they will come out storming next year.
:)
Win the league this year....I hope , I wish, I even pray BUT come on......

i think there's a very very very very very slight chance Arsenal may bottle it, if we beat'em at OT...

whats that about pigs again? ;)

BTW..Ichk, he loves Aresnal ;)

If United will to rest Barthez and Blanc, then it will definitely do well against Arsenal. Don't ask me why, but I just have that strange feeling about them against the ArseFrench team. Let Carroll and O'Shea have a run and United will have a more "fighting Team". If they will to play in which they are more than certain, I hope that my worries are proven wrong.

The trouble is that even (when) we win on Wednesay we then have to depend on Everton (think about it Everton) to do us a favor. If it still somehow depended totally on us we would have a better chance but Everton ....

It does look very unlikely that United will win the league but as long as there's hope I won't give up...

United to beat Arsenal 2-1 and then beat Charlton 3-0 while arsenal are held to a 1-1 draw by Everton... :) ...

Therefore United are crowned Champions on goal difference........Again... ...

I would love it, just love it if that happened...

Give them a morale sapping and humilaiating defeat at OT like a 4 or 5 nil with out them getting more than 2 shots on goal like we did to Depo in the Riazor (this time with Giggs taking his chances) and watch them crumble. They will now that we will win at home to charlton putting tthe pressure on them vs Everton and guess what?
Moyes men won't budge!!!!!!! ;)

i have confidence in united. but i realize that other elements are needed to win the title and thus i don't have the same confidence in everton holding arsenal (at home, after their "humilating" defeat against us) to even a draw.

Just look at Everton's away record!

:( :( :(

And anyway I fancy the Arses to get a 0-0 at OT

:( :( :(

Next season!

There might be a 22 man brawl at the Arse v Everton game, and Arse might just get some points deducted. :D

No.

Mind, I didn't think Bradford would win at Liverpool on the last day of the season two years ago either.

I like when the odds are stacked against us

So I've just put £50 @ 11.0 on us winning that fecking title

Probably the biggest waste of £50 ever though.. ;)

Here's for Drunken Ferguson to become our player of the season ;)

Well I'm glad Arsenal have tidied up their disciplinary record.

As Champions of England they would need to.

Did anyone really think Everton would defeat United in the 95 FA Cup Final? On any given day, one inferior minnow can outswim the big tuna.

C'mon United, kick the shit out of Arsenal. As long as United stay above Livershit, then the season wasn't a complete disaster. And that final day, a strange result could occur. It would be similar to the Red Sox collapse of 78 if Arsenal were to drop points in their last 2 matches.

Look at Inter.Lazio played the game with Crespo,Lopez out.Inter looked like fools when Lazio played around with them.Think of the same thing at Highbury. But still Freddie feckin Ljungberg is in the form of his life.

So the aim of the game tomorrow is not only to win, but to kick Ljungberg out of the Everton game too?

Easy...

Yeah but think of the money you'll get when United win their two games and Arsenal draw 1-1 with Everton... ...
