I admit I watched the scum - Depor game hoping to see them lose, but it turned into a very painful match to watch.
It could have been 5-1 or 6-0 as well. Horseface put the ball into the net four times, two of them were disallowed.
Scholes, Giggs, horseface missed tons of chances, and scum should have got 2 penalties, Depor one, the referee could not handle the game.
There is something we could learn from manure's performance.
Their movement in attack was dare I say it annoyingly good, in fact, if I put my hatred aside for a second, it was excellent.
This is something we should aim for. Attack with 5-6 men quick passing, and MOVEMENT for God's sake. There is always room to be exploited if you work endlessly.
I don't want us to imitate the mancs but the fact is that MOVEMENT + quick passing is devastating at best and it is the style the great Liverpool sides of the past mastered to perfection.

I certainly don't class myself as one of Ged's critics, but I have to agree with your points.
Even a team like Valencia, who are basically a defensive side, or at least they are by Spanish standards, can put together brilliant attacking movements built round their pace and movement up front.
One obvious example being that fantastic 1st goal they scored against us in the away game this season.
Meanwhile when we attack, half the time there's nobody there to put passing movements together.
