After seven games:- Goals For. Goals Against

98/99 - 13 6

99/00 - 17 8

00/01 - 20 7

01/02 - 22 13

02/03 - 6 5

This time last season we had scored 22 goals! But as it was only last year, the players haven't deteriorated that much, so it will get better.

And what about that for one of the worst defences in the league last year. :)

We were the grand entertainers last year.

That season, when Newcastle were miles clear. We won the League with 1-0 victories en masse.

We'll be fine. I'll take 1-0 wins all the way from now till the end of the season.

That said, the European Cup final has to be won with a flourish. Forlan hattrick against Real Madrid. I've begun saving for my ticket.

I still do, it's entertainment after all.

you want entertainment, go watch a movie. football is about winning...

I've seen some great 1-0's down the years. (FA Cup Final 1985!)
Yeah we are well down on goals from last season but our defence is 100 times better.
The glaring problem from last year was our defence. That is being addressed, one thing at a time. You'll never win the league conceding as many goals as we did last season.

What would you prefer. Utd to win 1-0 or lose 5-4 I know which i'd choose. Atleast when we're winning 1-0 we are still getting the points. I'd like to see us playing more entertaining football but not at the expense of 3 points every week.
