But hey ho, at least they amassed more league points than Fergie’s best United teams, who actually won the league!

The greatest Liverpool team in history earned fewer trophies than a United team with Fellaini, Young, Smalling, Valencia, Mkhytarian as key players. Let that sink in.
 
I can't believe it after the hype campaign for the best team in pl history, Liverpool 2022 ends up similar to Man Utd in 2017.

Correct !!, this supposedly "best team ever" raved all year by Liverpool supporting pundits , journalists etc failed to score in 3 finals. I will say one thing Jamie Carragher if the "problem" Ronaldo was playing last night at least one of their chances would be in the back of the net.
 
Blame Chelsea for not doing their bit or we could compare them to our 2015 team.
 
I mean even without the community shield, I'd rather the Europa league over the FA cup these days.
