Of late we have shown consistency and more importantly, steel amongst our defenders.

Silvestre strikes me as the most outstanding of the bunch over the last six games after a poor mid-season spell.
 
ALL of them were outstanding.
One of the commentators made a comment that Gary Neville had played in all of Uniteds matches this season (excluding the worthless cup) Not sure if thats true but if it is that sums the man up.Mr Dependable.Shows what the boss thinks of him.

They have all been good. Silvestre has created the most goals in the prem hasn't he? :D
 
Silverstre and Blanc certainly improved a lot throughout the season. I always said in the current defence line LB is the position we need to worry the least, as Silverstre has every quality to become a world class LB as good as everyone in the business. He always has pace, skill and good tackling, but now he also improve his consistence and reduce his careless mistakes by large extent. And Blanc, what a world class defender! His class, positioning and interception is still world class and if he can stay with us for one more season it will only be good to us.
 
I think RB is the problem position - I know I'll be killed for saying it but I genuinely believe we can do better than Gaz. I reckon he's better employed as a CB...

I believe that I have mentioned that two defenders would suit me fine ;)

Did anyone see wes almost score an own goal again?, he had a decent game but to be honest im not 100% confident in him yet...Blanc was as cool as ever and Gary Neville actually put in a decent cross during the game, maybe he took heed on my advise to practise his crossing on the training ground! ;)
