The program schedule lists Three Colors: Red up for viewing this evening. I haven't seen Blue and White yet, so, is it supposed to be seen in chronology?

EVERYTHING is supposed to be seen in chronology.
I'd watch Blue then White then Red.
And definitely leave Red till last.

Was looking forward to it, but I'll heed on your advice anyways ShotgunAlthough unsure, I think I watched the 2nd Godfather movie first and that worked out fine. Guess this one ain't of that sort...
There's probably less continuity than in the Godfather movies, but Red just kinda wraps the trilogy up. It won't ruin things if you watch them out of order, but I personally wouldn't.
It doesn't really matter if you watch Blue or White first. Red should be viewed last though.
What he said although Blue is technically first I think.
And Red is definitley last as a) it wraps the trilogy up and b) is is worse than White and far far worse than Blue which is a masterpiece.

Worse than White? That`s a bold statement. Red was always my favourite, although i`ll concede that Irene Jacob was a big reason for that.

I really like White. The ending was top notch.

I didn't actually like Red very much at all. Blue was truly brilliant and white was excellent if you can connect with the European absurdist humor. Red seemed a nothing of a film made only to make it a trilogy rather than 2 excellent stand alone films.
