I almost find myself wanting Liverpool to beat Roma this week. If they lose they would be unlikely IMO to progress in the CL and this would give them greater focus on the EPL. If they are still realistically involved on Europe after the CL break they may be tempted to rest players etc. it the league.

It looks bleak at the moment alright but at least you don't have to play any of the big boys for awhile. It just might give you time to regain some confidence and more importantly get some points on the board.
 
Confidence is vital in any sport and we should do well against W Ham (h), Boro (a), Saints (h), Everton (a), Fulham (a). However given recent form we can't take anything for granted. Mind you if we can't knock that lot off we don't deserve anything.

Very true, it definitely looks like the next few weeks are going to be a make or break period for you.
