If we create a thread and it's closed, can we get a reason why? I created one in the Manchester United Forum and I am a little puzzled why it was closed.

If I violated some rule, then I'll be sure not to repeat it in the future.

Thank you kind mods.

Most often is because it's already being discussed in another thread so a new one isn't needed. From looking at your thread that's what I'd guess.

It could be for any number of reasons Platato. The most common being redundant discussions (as Solius said); but also poor taste, a thread veering off into a pointless direction, wummery, a needless bump of a very old thread where the thread title is misleading to posters today, and so on.

It was locked because it's in the wrong forum and because people are already discussing those quotes and speculating about transfers based on it - in the right forum.

You didn't get an explanation because I was on my iPhone just before work.

Oh really? which forum? I didn't see them. And thank you Top.

There you go, now you can always find it by looking at your tagline, Platato.

You're welcome.

I may as well ask again even though its probably obvious.

My thread last night, well it was weird. But at same time was meant to be serious.

Did it really need to be deleted?

It may have been a weird one but I don't see the need to delete.

No I was not infracted.

Why was it any worse then other threads were death of someone famous is discussed?

Probably because its a United site and he's Utds manager.

This isn't the best route to go if you're looking for a bit of attention Randall.

Says the guy who posts pics of himself in a dress?

Jesus, popper that's silly even coming from you.

I was just about to suggest you post a pic in a dress if you're feeling a bit needy Randall, it would be far more successful.

The dress thing has been done. Someone needs to step it up a level. Bob?
