Why are amusing, but not classic, threads, and spastic forum wars threads, going in the Classics?

The Classics should really be reserved for things by me, with the odd Peacock Royal/Buy Flintoff from Cricket -type gem thrown in

the rap battle for control of the revolution could have been a classic but it turned spasticated. Also TRF is a big whimpy girl who whimped out like a big girl

Just a week ago he claimed that Elisha bloke on YAWN has inside sources and never ever gets a lineup wrong. Not even a chance.

There are some people we'd happily let post in the classics, unfortunately there's a much larger minority who would just feck them up and turn the funny into the banal to say they were a part of it.

On balance, once a thread has run it's course and reached classic status it is best off locked to prevent it being Melvined with 15 additional pages consisting of highly amusing permutations of :lol: :D :lol: :nono: :lol:
