Anyone know the dates? i suspect early august which will maen virtually no break for the World Cup participants. I guess we'll be looking to give them time off at various points in the season as after Euro championships in 2000

reading the tables in the other league, could in any chance we'll meet Madrid, Inter or AC Milan in the 1st group stage ?

1st team players thats arn't going to the WC i think if we add to these with some of the youngsters eg O'SHAY, CHADWICK, STEWART... we should be able to keep the WC players fresh for the start of the PREM.

the above team should be able to beat "locamotive whateveryoucallit" as long as a few WC tired players can step in.

We'll only know who we're facing deep into training for next season, and Fergie won't take chances for a small thing such as "Champions league qualification" with a tinkered team.
