A few days ago (Saturday 30 June) I was changing planes in New York (JFK) and after having a couple of beers in the bar I made my way to the departure gate....
Now it was still two hour until my flight was due to leave but I thought I'd read my book, well on my way to the gate who should I spy but one of my favourite actors, Christopher Eccleston...
I was talking to him and then it occured to me that I had my cellphone so we had someone take a picture of us and as I recall the picture came out well but through being starstruck I neglected to save the picture...
I've been kicking myself ever since but rest assured if I ever encounter a celebrity again on my travels I will definitely remember to save the picture, all I had to do was press one bloody button but I didn't do it. Aargh...
Still anyway Christopher Eccleston saw me a bit later and waved at me as if I was his mate, all in all a good trip but I'm still annoyed about my stupidity...
