well..maybe in the short run..

but i guess in the long run it helps cause they got rid of webber's max contract and that allows them to get another quality player..they have a young nucleas to work with..songaila's pretty decent..

philly had better make something out of this trade as they now have two max contract players who are susceptible to injuries..no one knows how much longer webber's knee can hold up..

can't say i'm not disappointed cause i am..but hope it turns out for the better
 
Who was the huge Sixers fan a couple of years ago who had the biggest man crush on Iverson? He saw anything the Sixers did as a great move, one that would make them better. Hilarious. He's probably wanked himself to death over this.

I remember we had a huge NBA thread back then - 20+ pages. Nate was the Lakers fan, Dans was for Dallas, me the Rockets and this guy was all over the Sixers.
 
Thanks, I just looked it up. RUDDY was the Sixers fan. What ever happened to him??

Although from reading the first few pages where he was hyping up Van Horn, Eric Snow and Kenny Thomas, it might be safe to assume he's in the nuthouse.
 
Cwebb to philly is a good deal for philly. the atlantic is weak and now AI has a partner in crime he can work with because cwebb loves to pass from the high post and has amazing vision for a bigman. the cwebb/AI pick and roll will be even more deadly than the cwebb/bibby pick and roll because of AI's speed and handle. Philly should lock up the atlantic by the end of the season now.
