Going to his stand up show tonight at the Apollo. Anyone go on the 9th? If so how was it?

I'm so jealous. I was skint when the tickets came round.

Apparently he was awesome, a couple of my mates went

Cheers both of you. Really looking forward to it. To be honest i am a little worried im going to be the only white person there. Hope im not sticking out like a sore thumb really.

Are you near the front?

No im up in the upper circle. But i still dont want to be the only white person there. It will be a bit uncomfortable i reckon.

You won't be. Rock transends the gap with his humour. I love him, but couldn't afford tickets at the time.

Yeah money wasnt so much of an issue because the girlfriend bought them for my for my birthday. Well i hope he is on form tonight and the tickets were worth the money.

I went to see him at the Apollo in Manc on Tuesday, he was hillarious, haven't laughed so much in years, tears rolling down my face all night, you will have a ball.

Support was funny too.

It would be funny if you were the only white person there :)

He would definitely have a go at you

Nah, the split was mostly white at the Manc gig, about 70/30 as stated above.

Not that it should even be an issue.

He is funny, quite racist but funny, if say Michael Richards said some of the things he did....

no it was rock, he just couldnt be fecked with it, i like moyles, and it was not down to him...

Fair enough but i would say that he cant really ply his trade on an afternoon radio show. His comedy is quite mature to say the least so you know he needs to be doing interviews when he can say whatever he wants.

Last night he was absolutely hilarious. I was laughing the whole night long and he worked well with the mix in people (someone else said that and i totally agree). There was about 40% black people, 30% white and 30% Asian. Was a good mix of people. His support was fantastic as well. His joke about mutes was one of the funniest of the night. Good interactions with the crowd and most importantly just a fecking funny night.
