He got sent down in Croydon (England). He was carrying a lot of cocaine which he'd stuffed into 3 cans of tinned fruit (but without the fruit).

Pleading not guilty and having his story picked apart by the police did him no favours....fully deserves the 13 years. No idea whether that's standard for such cases but hopefully it will serve as some deterrent to other drug smuggling lowlife scum.

13 years seems harsh for £145k worth of cocaine. Those English lads who got convicted in Ireland last week of having more than €100 million worth of coke only got 10 years each.
