I hardly ever see Horse Racing mentioned on here, which is strange as when it comes to Cheltenham in March it`s some of the most exciting sport possible.

Anyway the clash between Kauto Star and Denman next Friday is possibly the most anticipated horse race in my lifetime (i`m 40) and i`ve been moist at the thought of it since i returned from holiday before Christmas.

Best Bet:

My Way De Solzen (Each Way) in the World Hurdle on Thursday.

Best Lay (if you have a Betfair Account):

Sizing Europe in the Champion Hurdle on Tuesday.

Okay Folks, enough of the PM's asking for my tips. Yes I know I gave you the40-1 winner of the Grand National last year, but I ask my fans to be patience with me

For Tuesday I am doing this £5 ew Yankee

2.00 - Pigeon Island (also Fancy - Khyber Kim)
2.35 - Mahagony Blaze (also Fancy - Noland)
3.15 - Sizing Europe
4.00 - New Alco

My tip would be not to do a Yankee. You can have a nice 10/1 winner and come away losing money. Back them in singles.

All very well and good but the horses I have picked are long odds and after the place

I have stuck money on all those horses Baz

How do I do yankee and each way?

Place odds at 1/5 the SP are generally poor value as well. Take your £110 and stake it £20x3 and £50 on the 2/1 shot. I'll bet you'll do better than the Yankee or at least no worse. Don't like that 2/1 shot by the way (gives the hurdles too much air) I'm with Nearco - lay it.

Szing Europe doesn`t look a natural hurdler to me, and is very short in the betting.

Harchibald is my favourite NH horse and after reading a positive stable report in the RP Weekender in October i backed him for the Champion Hurdle at 66/1. I`m not that confident as he`s a bit of a monkey but he`s got a terrific engine.

Lay of the day is Noland in the Arkle. Too short for what he`s accomplished.

Noland looks too short as well though you can point fingers at the others (eg too soft for Tidal Bay). Ring The Boss/Kruguyrova race at Warwick might be the best form.

That says MUG PUNTER in big letters (bets reasonably large amounts on short priced favs in markets he doesn't know much about). Goes back to July to find a good run.

Tomorrows big race has a very nice look to it from a punting point of view as a couple of the market leaders are really poor value:

The Favourite (Voy Por Ustedes) has knowhere near the best form but his trainer/jockey had two winners today and the horse loves Cheltenham (though prefers faster ground.) I`ve laid this one at just under 3/1 on Betfair.

Master Minded is like Noland - too short and owes his place at the front end of the market to his trainer. Not as bad value as VPU.

Twist Magic is a short runner and wont win.

Tamarinbleu ticks all the right boxes and has the best form. Backed him at 5/1 once he was a conformed runner. The rain really helps.

I also give a squeak to Fair Along who has a solid EW chance at around 14s.

I agree about Mastermind, he's blown 3 out of his last 7 by not jumping properly. I reckon Tamarinbleu would be better over further and softer. So it's between Voy Por Ustedes and Twist Magic for me. VPU has been aimed at this and likes Cheltenham but the form book clearly says Twist Magic. The other one possibly worth an interest today is Group Captain (should get 5s) class act on the flat and hurdles pretty well.

So what do you reckon they'll do?

Re-schedule the day entirely? Have an earlier start on Thursday and Friday and try to fit as many of them as possible to compensate? A Saturday card? Or a complete write off?

Sounds like they're going to fit the races in across the remaining two days. So we get every opportunity to do our dough.

Yeah. Queen Mother tomorrow with the Ryanair and World Hurdle.

Coral Cup and RSA in with the Gold Cup on Friday.

Betfair have voided my bet on Tamarinbleu and i might leave it now depending on the ground. It hasn`t rained for 24 hours or so now and VPU comes right into it.

World Hurdle i respect the favourite but i`ve backed Aitmatov and My Way De Solzen EW at big prices mainly because i don`t like the horses immediately behind Inglis Drever in the market - Blazing Bailey and Kasbah Bliss are inconsistant and Witchita Lineman for me is shite.

Best wait and see what the going's like tomorrow morning, the wind can dry it out pretty quickly if there's no more rain.

Any good tips today lads I have £10 burning a hole

It's a tough old day with big fields full of horses who have a chance. I think Inglis Drever will win the 3.30 but he's ridiculously short at 5/4 so you may be better off going with Nearco's EW tip My Way De Solzen. I still think Twist Magic is the best bet in the 2.20 (should get better than 4/1).

£2 on both Alberta run and air force one at the 1.05

Come on

I'm afraid it wasn't down to luck - that was an amateur riders race and the jockey gave his horse an appalling ride (Ormais beat the winner by 18 lengths last time out with a proper jockey on board)

Come on
Trappy race in which you could make a case for about 7 of them including your two. In general it's not a great idea to back two in the same race (since you've got a certain loser before the off). Good luck anyway.

McCoy you beauty

The horses I backed came 1st and 2nd

Luck is changing

I've backed Tamarinbleu in the 2.20, and Inglis Drever in the 3.30 today.

Fingers crossed

fecking hell, stuck a bet on finger on the pulse in play
