Anyone into the horses here.

i am going to keep everyone up to date on my horses to follow and whether at the time bet or lay them at cheltenham.

Best Mate - Had a good start to season did the business and at present your are getting good odds for the gold cup. His race against Beef or Salmon at Leopardstown will be crucial. With JC bback in Saddle for the March weekend I as I sit here beginning of December cannot see past a 4 in a row.

Moscow Flyer - My Irish banker last year and has his first out this Saturday. Runs against Aziourtioup in a likely show down for Cheltenham.

Fundamentalist - ran at weekend and disappointed. a punters favorite but will need to improve can get 10's on Betfair but will drift

Zum Zie - Mark my words this horse is a good each way bet in very race to Cheltenham. Owned by the same connections that had Miss Emer and if they are to follow the same success this horse will win next time out, and allowed to back off in the hope he will get big odds at Cheltenham

Ned Kelly Another Irish horse which has alot of promise. Expect this horse to win over Christmas and be in contention for the Arkle.

Made in Japan I was tipped this before Cheltenham this year and didn't back it. A horse I'm keeping my eye on.

Moscow Flyer won the Tingle Creek in some style in a keenly contested race against Azertioup & Well Chief. Lead from the front and in my opinion still had gas in the tank. Azertioup was on the briddle so I expect he was being ridden to win. Well Chief put in a mighty race and from what I saw was coasting over the 2miles.

Made in Japan Had a nightmare yesterday. Totally outclassed and out jumped. Not the same horse as last year and very much on the way out in Backing for Cheltenham

BEST Mate Best Mates biggest rival for the Gold Cup Beef or Salmon was out yesterday at Punchestown in the John Durkin and had a woeful race. Typical of the horse. He seems to have one great race followed by a nightmare race. I watched the race and it was hard to see the style of riding, so its difficult to know the reason. The ground was good to soft, but cannot be to blame as that is what he likes. Maybe the yards but if that is Best Mates biggest rival, come March it will be the fences which will be BM's biggest challenge

BTW just to finish nothing can take away from the superb ride from Kicking King & Rathgar Beau. 2 lovely horses.

Zum Sie ran at the wekend and was strong favorite at evens in a large race to win. Came fourth, but like other horses from this connection, it is always pulled when favorite, I expect it to win in Navan around Febuary or if they run it over leopardstown at Christmas. But believe me this horse is going to win within the next 3 races it is out. My money is on the next race.

Ned Kellywas written off as dog meat back in October. Did not race all of last year and I was thrilled to see him out in L'stown for St Stephens Day. I suppose what most people wanted to see was him come home nice and easy, but he ran a great race to finish third. As things stands I think Ned Kelly is still and excellent each way for the Festival.

Other runners out which deserve a mention Kicking King had a mighty race in the George. My only concern is that he would not have made it up the hill at Cheltenham. Great horse and Tom Taffte will have his hands full of keeping the media away come March.

Harchibald will win his race at the festival. This horse is class and full arks to PC for a top ride. Rooster Booster is no more then an each wayers from now on

Moscow Flyer went down with the flu. It happens. Lets hope he gets out at Punchestown so we can get some idea as to form. Full marks to Jessica Harrington for not risking it.

Best Mate was well beaten by Beef or salmon yesterday in L'stown. Not a fan of Beef or Salmon but he put in a mighty performance. The only positives I can take from this yesterday in relation to Best Mate is that he jumped well. However he looked slow and sluggish and the final run-in at L'stown is not like Cheltenham's hill.

After the race at L'town, Miss Henry Knight said that Best Mate's inability to run well over all types of ground will mean it will only be remembered as a good horse and not a great horse, I gotta disagree with her, I think that horse has already cemented its place in horse greatness with the Arkle's etc of this world.

One horse to keep an eye on is Kingscliff, will only get better after his impressive performance in the King George, will be a fair price also.

Look lad redjoe - Thought I was having this thread to myself.

Let me know a few horses you like so we can follow them.

I am thinking about 1 serious bet for the meeting and that is for the irish to have 6 winners or more @5-1 with Paddy Power. I'm waiting for more odds to come my way and the money to do it.

Fundamentalist is another of my horses who could not out a foot wrong late '04 but his preformance at Newbury a few weekends ago was poor. Consistantly jumped like a novice and like Newbury, he will final the fenses his downfall Chelthenham.

Zum Zie was supposed to be out last week at Navan but weather meant it was abandanded. I'm still hopeful if this horse goes to Cheltenham he will be a good each way.

Moscow Flyer had a great race yesterday in Punchestown. The ground was against him, but he did everything that was expected him.

Now joint favorite with Azertioup & Well Chief who won well in C'Ham @ 2-1.

Its late Januray and I will be putting Moscow down as part of my Canadian.

Harchibald & Best Mate still look safe to me.

Ned Kelly won in style over the weekend in Fairyhouse. led from start to Finish. What a horse. This horse was being put down 6 months ago. Many people thought it would never race again. Here we are less than a month until C'Ham and it is now favorite for the arkle.

A solid each way in my opinion and will give fans something to shout about on opening day.

My Festival Bet BTW

Justified (lost)
Ned kelly (Lost)
Harchibald (2nd)
Spot the Difference (Won)

Tomorrow
Moscow Flyer (won)
Keepatem (Non Runner

Thursday
Rathgar Beau (placed)
Brooklyn Breeze (Placed)

Friday Beef or Salmon

BTW my 9 horses are all part of a super Each way Goliath.

Other bet 8+ Irish Winners -

What do other punters think about Carberry's handling of Harchibald, I for one think keeping the horse on a tight rein for so long was the sole reason for not winning.....Francome says he was told to do this by the trainer, if that is so and I don't think he meant keep on the bridal that long, whoever is to blame it is a pity because chances to win in big races at the Festival don't come that easy, however this horse

I meant to finish by saying that I feel Harchibald is a genuine class act and I feel the experience it gained on the opening day will stand it in good stead for the years to come.

Need just 1 Irish winner tomorrow to win big style -

Hopefully beef or Salmon will do me right and I can lift big on my Goliath as well.

Redjoe - Its hard to know what someone like AP McCoy or Walsh or Gerarthy would have done but I hope to christ Carberry does not ride like that tomorrow.

9/1 winner...............niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice.

Lost all winnings since though, of course.
