Some of the great and the good on this site, like myself, Davo, Gazza and Noodlehair, having thought about the issue good and hard, have decided that ******* FC, the well-known money-laundering and white slave trade enterprise in West London, does not in fact exist.

However, we find ourselves beset by irrationalists who continue to use the word as if it described a real thing. I know this sounds absurd, but they really do start threads about "*******'s" squad and the chances of "*******" winning the league.

In order to help educate these deluded, for want of a better word, cretins, please could you stop the word "*******" appearing in any forum, in the same way, in your wisdom, you have decided to do away with the perfectly good English word, "C o s"...you fecking idiots.

I know what the space is for, the forum wont allow a word longer than 49 characters without automatically putting a space in, fecking genious I am.

And the repeating thingumy is because there are two fields you can alter. One is where you can put the words you want to sensor e.g. {Chelsea} and in the other you put what you want it replaced with - normally a *. It replaces ever letter of the prohiited word with whatever is in the second field. In the case of cockbiscuit .... erm .... Chelsea it replaces it with 7 lots of cockbiscuit with the gap thrown in due to some internal rule.

I have also noticed that sometimes when you change the settings previously replaced words can either revert to what they were meant to be or not in some other cases. Weird.
