Chelsea Transfers

Suckit, do you have a life?

Serious question.

Ranieri has said he's not had any offers for JFH but he couldn't stand in his way if he wanted to go. There have only been a handful of players to score over 20 goals in a premiership season and Jimmy has done it repeatedly. He scored against us for 5 consecutive games I think. Would make a great backup to Ruud, and I'm sure Ruud would be happy to have his dutch team-mate in the squad.

If he actually gets to win trophies, and gets more pay, then yes, particularly at his age.

I think you are giving Hasselbaink far too much credit. It woud be nice in theory though.

I rate Hasselbaink as the third best striker in the premiership (behind Ruud and Henry obviously), so if we could get him then I certainly wouldn't say no. But I really doubt that Chelsea would sell him to us. If he does leave them he'll go to Italy I reckon.

How well does he combine with Ruud in the dutch side?

As highly as I rate his finishing abilities, United does not need mercenaries. Players who will stand and fight for the club have always been the backbone of United and always will be.

Leave the piggybank where he is, Chelsea is the right place for foreign mercenaries anyway. I'm sure he'll find another sucker to give him a lucrative signing on fee in the next round of transfers.

JFH has agreed personal terms with Barcelona. Chelsea want 11m Euros plus cancellation of outstanding debt (nearly 8m for Petit and Zenden), Barcelona are offering 8m plus cancellation of outstanding debt.
