Anybody seen Chelsea play, esp. vs Everton ? (I didn't see it). Soccernet reckons they're tital contenders. I saw us beet both Arsenal and Liverpool, we don't need to fear them. Opinion on Chelsea as our main rivals now anyone ?

Zola is hot. Gronkjaer is a class act too. Lampard and De Lucas look solid in midfield. Defensively, Cudicini is a great keeper and their backline is solid as any team's. I do like Chelsea's chances a lot. Everything about them will rest on the Italian Wizard, though. He is just stunning. Has the quickest legs in the country at this time in manipulating the ball. The ball just loves his foot as much as his foot loves the ball. They have such a relationship running between each other, really. Zola at his best is pure joy to watch.

Yes, I like Chelsea's chances as long as the catalyst called Zola is inspiring them.

Its hard to say at this early stage. Can't see Chelsea or the dippers keeping up with us over the long run though. Its between us and the Arse, with Liverpool, Newcastle, and Chelsea a tier below.

They are still a class team and anyone who does is an idiot.</strong><hr></blockquote>

Never did write them off. But, I did talk about Chelsea's credentials in a title race.

IMO opinion Chelsea are better than they have been in the past, but can't see them providing a bigger challenge than Arsenal or Liverpool. I think the champions will come from these three, long way to go yet Xmas will sort everyone out lets hope were still there come Easter.

Great thing is we're playing with some conviction at last and praise needs to go to Gaz, Phil, Scholsie, Fab, JOS,Ole and Rudd who have been outstnding in the last few weeks...!

we might not need to fear them, but they are still top of the table.

Zola is class i think he is older than Di Canio, But still running like a 20 year old,,,,get di canio asap,,,italian players last longer than others .
Back to topic, They r on a good run now, but yet to c them winning against a good side.
