Check out cescmullet's posts please - it'd be nice to see a banning

I made a post about Henry that is not flattering but has not been deleted because it is not against the cafe's rules.

This was followed by a typically abusive post by cescmullet, calling me a 'tart'. I think this little boy/man has done this for long enough whenever I post something unflattering about Arsenal. He has also followed me around on threads before looking to slag off in his fashion.

I'm a poster who only serves other posters in this way when they have initiated it. It was a fair cop to throw his slag job back by pointing out there is a homoerotic element to his obsession with racing after people like me who make posts that are not flattering about his beefcake idols.

However, as I pointed out, I do not initiate this kind of abuse on the redcafe. I have been on the receiving end for long enough and while I can stand up for myself, I really don't see why this dropkick continues to act up.

Read his initial post after mine on the Henry's family problem thread (forget the title) and his near hysterical rant about shaving etc following my post dishing out his own medicine. Banning please.

I repeat - I do not start by abusing other posters. I respond in like when they have demonstrated that they are taking excessive advantage of the free speech here. Ban, ban, ban the boy....

Yeah he's a good poster, don't ban him. What is this about shaving? Maybe it was just a bit of harmless flirting?

Nup, just fed up with his usual responses to me

He can't hack being paid back in like, but then again I don't initiate his form of aggressive posting. I think his two responses are worthy of banning and he has become very personal over a while.

Ban the little dropkick!

There seems to me to be a lot of this going on. Some posters use the anonymity of an internet forum to say things they would probably never dream of saying in a face-to-face situation. I'm all for a bit of banter, but sometimes its a fine line between that and personal insults that can upset. There are a number of juveniles on Redcafe that seem to delight in just going one step too far.

Why not ask one of the mods to have a private word with him, Ryansgirl. I don't see why you should have to put up with being hounded, especially by an opposition fan on a United board. Alternatively, put him on ignore - might be suitable if he's acting like an ignoramus.

This is ridiculous.
Cesc is a good poster.

This thread has generated some feedback! Thanks to the helpful ones, no thanks to the few usual suspects.:)

Seriously, I do not reply to a post on the redcafe that I disagree with, even when it is a nasty one (and my Henry posts were and are very mild for these forums), by doing slag jobs on the person who posted.

As you can see on the Henry thread I decided to give it back, throw a few insults, and see how cescmullet liked it - and of course he couldn't hack it.

I agree totally with this. Unfortunately I posted on here pissed last night and issued something of a threat to one poster in the general who was calling me a prat and criticising me, but my point to him was a valid one. He wouldn't dare do that to my face! Some people only have a set of bollocks behind the mask of a computer screen.

I can't recall my encounters with Cesc too much RG, but he's seemed fine from memory despite his allegences. Perhaps this quiet word / toning down the sexism approach will solve your issue?
