Chatroom Feature

Hello.

I was wondering if it would be possible to have a chatroom/box feature on the forum?

To my knowledge there was one before but it was closed down because people were pretending to be other posters etc. Would it not be possible to impose a password restriction so only valid posters could enter and perhaps there could be chatroom mods who could maintain order in there to stop it getting it out of hand.

I understand that a chatroom would take over alot of the forums so perhaps it would only be available on Matchdays or something.

It's just a revised idea, if it isn't possible then it doesn't matter, just thought I would ask and see if anyone likes the idea of it again.
 
I like the idea of a chatroom for matches...as in only open during the match with like a 10 minute buffer zone on either end for build-up and reactions
 
I have a better idea for a forum jukebox only I'm not sure if it's feasible. I need to consult a software expert on that. Think I'll discuss it with Weaste. Maybe I can even make some money off it. Like those youtube bastards.
 
And just to add my two pence worth, I don't give a rats ass about a matchday chatroom. Ffs just sit back and watch the match instead of chatting on here while it's on.

Well I'd agree, but I only suggest it for the unfortunate few of us that don't have access to the matches. A chatroom would be a great improvement on other text-based match commentary...and would beat the hell out of reloading a thread every so often.
 
Use streams to watch matches. That's how I watch all of them. If you don't know how let me know and I'll send you a custom PM I've prepared for help with streaming.
 
Imagine a chatroom over the summer, It'd be the biggest wankfest the world has ever witnessed.

Chatroom was a nightmare before, unmoderated and hogging the bandwidth on matchdays.

Just think how slow it is now with just the matchday thread

Add people going into a chatroom and you'll see why im not a fan of it
