Lead singer of electropop group Ou Est Le Swimming Pool commited suicide last night, jumping off a telecomunications mast behind the main stage at Pukkelpop Festival, Belgium, where they had been performing this weekend.

Terrible loss of a young life, only 22, and a very talented musician.

I had the pleasure of seeing them earlier this year at an event on a clifftop in Cornwall and they were fantastic.

I was hoping to see them on their upcoming tour. Sad loss, the band had a lot of potential.

Had the album since release but only recently gave it a proper listen. It's brilliant in my opinion. It's a shame that it all ended like it did.
