I just can't see Lazio qualify. They're just a Serie A mid-table team and looked bad against every single decent opponent this season.
Even in the 1st leg, they didn't play well imho and got away thanks to Upamecano disasterclass.

That said, thanks to Tuchel this is probably the worst Bayern team in the last 10 years so it's now or never for Lazio.

Considering how we've played recently I wouldn't be surprised if we go out. Now that I've said that I've jinxed it in our favour, and by explaining it counterjinxed it back again in favour of Lazio.

Before the first legs, I really didn't think any of the ties were that interesting but Porto and Lazio both taking narrow wins was exactly what we needed to spice things up. I'm very much looking forward to this Bayern game now.

Would be cool if Bayern went out to a side that only made it here thanks to a last gasp goalkeeper goal

Porto and Lazio going through is very unlikely. I think they won’t be able to do it. Would be a nice surprise.

Atleti - Inter can’t be as boring as the first leg. Though the second half was okay-ish. Thinking they’ll draw.

Hard to see the Bayern I've watched in the last few weeks win by a 2 goal margin. Unless Lazio gets a red card or some Bayern players just enter god-mode

Harry Kane needs to show up tonight.

It's...yeah...btw isn't that illegal in germany? Because if they did that in Italy and got identified they could be arrested can't    who's gonna arrest them, the italian cops? They'd join in the chants ffs :(

Isn't saluting the Führer mandatory again in Italy? :wenger:

I just read that our history of coming back from a first leg defeat has been terrible for almost a decade, and nothing about our form suggests a rousing success tonight... i will gladly accept evidence to the opposite.

The bookies are heavily favouring a Bayern win, which is somewhat surprising as they have a flurry of injuries and average form recently.

Well if he can't get past Lazio then Tuchel deserves the sack and in the morning.

PSG struggled in the first leg until Vitinha was repositioned as a 6. If they start him there and hit Real Sociedad on the counter, the game could be over in the first half

If he fecks up against these fascists he might as well get fired in the stadium right after the final whistle.

Agree  is there a possibility those fans get some kind of punishment for singing those songs, or at least UEFA punish Lazio as a club? They've been known for it so would be nice to see them paying big fine.

He's benching Kim for Dier because Kim can't speak English :nervous:

Spursofication intensifying

Punishing Lazio for something people not associated with the club did in a pub seems a bit excessive even to me...

I think that at least 1 of Lazio or Porto make it to the quarters. Football loves surprising people

I truly believe we will turn up today and play a great game.

(and i fear this post will age like milk)

Wanted to say: it’ll be fine, when is the last time you guys didn’t go through as favorites?

Then I remembered the Villareal game

The bold must be a joke. Bench the best defender in the Serie A last season vs a Serie A team not because he can't speak German but because No habla Anglais.

Well, technically it's because Kim has poor communication with De Ligt(or Dier)

I still haven't completely overcome that optimism, but every week i have one or two ~90 min therapy sessions working on it.

Putting Kimmich at RB and Kim on the bench chasing a game is downright sackable.

Gives me Mourinho vibes, this distructive feeling. F*ck Tuchel, really!

Dier was also given a year extension... what's going on with Bayern's administration, a collective meltdown over the last two years.

Putting Kimmich at RB
I mean, you won a CL with Kimmich at RB "technically"...

As for Kim, the explanation i heard is Dier forms a better partnership with De Ligt because Kim has language troubles, plus Dier is Bayern's best CB on the ball

From what I remember he only started playing RB in the last few games of UCL back then, but we had Thiago in his midfield role. Now we have a young kid.
As for whether Kimmich can play RB, of course, one of the best, really, but midfield looks very weak.

Dier with the goal saving clearance, truly Tommy T knows what he's about sons

Bayern playing bad now, after a decent start to the match. Lazio taking a little bit over as well.

Sane probably shouldn't have started either.
