'tis a silly place
Luton are officially interested in Luke. Joe Kinnear is quoted as saying he has questioned his availablity and we "havent said yes and we havent said no". <img src="graemlins/nervous.gif" border="0" alt="[Nervous]" /> I really think he is a good squad player, we would be silly to let him go, and he deserves to be at a higher level than Luton. Perhaps a loan spell to improve his fitness?

I think he is one of those players who looked like he would make an impact but has gone backwards, possibly due to injury. He reminds me of Russell Beardsmore I remember him tearing Liverpool apart when we beat them 3-1 at O/T and I thought what a player he would become as we all know he ended up at Bournemouth.

Sadly Pete I think you may be right. Wish the lad well wherever he goes.

His problem is mainly due to his failure to strengthen the physical part of his game. His overall skill and ball control are promising but his physical presence and weak final ball fails him.

Everton want to buy him while Luton only want to loan him - maybe because they can't afford to buy him. Luke said that if he hasn't got a look in by Christmas then it's unlikely he will afterwards when Keane and Butt are back. So if he goes, then Ole, Forlan and Veron are the backups to Beckham - none of which is satisfactory imo - we really do need to get some proper cover there.

IMO, Luke is a promising young player. if he get more chance, he will be a good RM.
we should loan him to another club, but don't sell him at this moment.

Last couple of close seasons I've expected to see Chadders come back looking a bit more solid having spent the summer down the gym but it hasn't happened & he still gets knocked off the ball too easily. Don't think he's gonna make it at OT.

:(

A year ago, United sold a certain Mr. J. Greening. Mr. J. Greening has recently been called up to the England squad.
Let Chadwick go on loan. He's crap when he's used as a sub anyway, so let him get more experience, and maybe when he comes back he'll have something to contribute.

He was loaned out to Antwerp a year already. He knows he doesn't stand a chance at United and he needs to be a first choice player somewhere sometime, and thats not going to happen here. I think he's right to move on, he's barely had a sniff of action this year even with our injury crisis and poor form.

Have to agree. People say he's good backup for beckham but when he's injured or suspended, we allways end up sticking veron/forlan/solsjkaer out on the right

Yep that about sums Chadwick up -- potential was there but he just never developed. Time to move on.

Although he played 4 less than 15 minutes against bayer on Wednesday, He seemed lively IMO.

It may be worth holding on to him until the end of the season. Either give him a few games or send him on loan and see how he goes from there. He could save us a lot of money.
