How will he do without Martin, Goss, Renshaw?

Looked from the world champs like he's pretty happy working with GT, Wiggins and Froome, and also Eisel has gone with him, so I reckon he'll be alright...

Cycling, really? Why would anyone want to watch a bunch of gimps riding around on bicycles?

Strange that Renshaw isn't following him. I thought this was going to be one of Cav's demands with his next team.
Sky does have some great time trial riders and sprinters as well though, so they could develop a similar system like he had at HTC. With people like Stannard, Swift, Boasson Hagen, Rogers, Löfkvist, Hunt, Henderson and especially Geraint Thomas they can set up something similar. It's not as easy of course because a good sprinter or time trialist doesn't necessarily make a good pilot in the last 2km, but the potential is there I think.

It's one of the biggest sports in Europe and is getting a lot more popular in other places as well such as the US and Australia.

I'm not sure Renshaw wanted to follow Cavendish. He signed with Rabobank very quickly after it was announced HTC is going to be disbanded.

What Dave Brailsford has achieved with British cycling both on the track and now on the road is pretty extraordinary. Dare I say, Fergie-esque.

If you'd said even as little as five years ago that in 2011 Britain would have one of the world's best professional road cycling team's and that it would include a number of British cyclists who could be considered amongst the best in the world, then you'd have been rightly taken away to the local funny farm for a thorough examination.
