Carney Chukwuemeka

Just mentioned in the Sancho thread, I read something on Twitter earlier in the day saying Ashworth was apparently really keen to take him to Newcastle from Villa last summer.
 
Didn't Chelsea give him a silly contract when they got him off Villa? I can't say I know much about him as a player.

Seeing as he's started just six league games in his career to date, I imagine a lot of people are in the same boat.
 
I feel like I must have seen him play a fair few times, but he's just blended into the rest of the few hundred young players Chelsea have signed in the last 2-3 years.

However, his profile of being a good age and being a midfielder who seems comfortable on the ball has to make him a lot more appealing than the Sterling deal that was being mooted.

The thing I like about him is that when he gets knocked down, he gets up again.
