Does this help free up Thuram? Although he plays as RB. I'd love to see Tudor here really. He could play in the middle or as full back or in the middle. It'd help if we were to release Phil Neville who seems like he wont ever be a regular.

I think the fans who have some sense already know for a long time that we are not going to get players such as Cannavaro or Nesta. The probable target of us should be Thuram, Ayala, etc.

true there ... espicially for Cannavaro ...

Nesta I am keeping my option open 'cos of the $ Lazio is owing us ... but I think the chances max.=10% over 100.

Personally I hope we won't spend another gold-mine is securing any service ... 10-12mil is the best I could tolerate myself in getting a new, proven defender ... else I would rather go for someone less known ... We have seen many example of such .. and it doesn't means they are all crap ... Not all players could live up with the hefty price tag ...
