Yes I can hear you Clem Fandango!
Now you mods have banned '***','***' and other words which deserve to be purged from the English language, can you do the same to the word 'Hargo' please?

Everytime it is used I feel like going in a killing spree, possibly invlving beating people to death with a Jack Russell. Ta.

I am in full agreement with this. One of the worst nicknames ever given to a player.

I have a friend with a surname of Hargreaves. And his nickname is Hargo.

Maybe its what the club call him ;)

I know the players call Rooney, Wazza, and thats worse than Hargo.

Ahh........of course. I once sent him a PM when i was in a rather drunken state telling him to die. Didn't realise it until he quoted it in his reply the next day.

Just keep on thinking that you're far superior mentally compared to people who say "Hargo".

Bellends.

Are we banning it then? It's truly embarassing. Spurs have got something similar going with "Berby".

Surely there are better nicknames for him. Hargy. Greavesy. Harry Greaves. Canadian cnut.

Is "Hargo" going to be banned or what?

I have not been able to get any traction with the other mods regarding this issue.

I suspect that once again the problem involves the fact that they are all Royal Canadian Poofters.

I resent that remark. Hargo clearly came from England. We're only to blame for the bad Calgarian haircut.

Hey....

At least it's not a sweet Hockey-styled mullet!

Hargreaves is as Canadian as the Queen.

Or is that as Queeny as a Canadian?

Anyway, that's not the real issue here.

This thread should be a wakeup call to my fellow mods that the people who really matter care a great deal about this issue, and that a resolution of the problem should be agreed to among us sooner rather than later.

Otherwise, the blood* will be on your hands**.
