I really wish that we can get Liverpool in the quarters because we need to get back at them for the last 5times they beat us we own them a beating even if it is kicking them out of the Uefa. Will see on Firday what happend!!!!
As you already know the fan base in SA is 60/40
United and Pool and the rest what is left 4 the other teams. The bars will be pack that night!!!

6 on the trot?

I've been supporting United since I was a kid and there isn't anything or anyone in the universe that I hate more than Liverpool FC.

But let's be realistic for a minute here, they have beaten us 5 times in a row :( Drawing them in the Qtr finals is not the easiest draw at all.

But it is THE MOST WANTED DRAW

I hope we draw them really. We need to get even somehow. As the guys on ESPN were saying last night "Liverpool doesn't play nice enjoyable football. But they sure know how to win and they have the best defense in the premiership". Those guys are absolutely right.

Right or wrong ... 5 times in a row or not ... my point is that they are not the easiest draw but, hell, I WANT TO DRAW THEM in the Qtr finals

Bring the Bastards on. After OT most of us wanted to meet them in the FA cup, so Fergie could go out with a bang. Now the opportunity has arrisen in the CL and Fergie's staying.

Man Utd are a better team than Liverpool and would wipe the floor with them.

Bring them On. It would be War.

I don't think it will be as easy as people think, there are no poor teams left in the competition at the QF stage. Over 2 legs I think United have the beating of any of the rest as long as key players stay injury free. Looking at Liverpool last night, not many teams will fancy playing them either.

United has to beat the best to be champions and even they looked good (the Fools) , United still has to do the job. With some tactical thinking and new strategy, United can do the job. I think it will be advantageous to play liverFool both for United and the fans as they need not do any long and tedious travelling across Europe and the players will have more time to rest for the up and coming Premiership games of paramount importance.

I dont want to draw Utd either and thats even after we have beaten you lot 5 times on the trot.

It would be a cracking game but I would prefer to play Depor for the single reason that we havent played them before.

Last year in the UEFA Cup Liverpool were an unknown and did well.

This season we were known to Roma and Gala and only scrapped through.

Capello fell into the trap of thinking that we would counter attack and had no idea that we could play attacking football I just hope that Iuereta falls into that trap.

Ferguson and Utd will want to beat Liverpool :

- for pride
- for the Semi's
- for payback

Depor will only want it for the Semi's.

No games are easy at this stage, for any team, but the teams you don't want in a final are Pool and B Munich. The reasoning is simple, these two teams play on the defensive, if they grab a goal it's shutters up time, boring, but effective, far better to play them over two legs, that way they will have to attack you at some stage, exposing themselves at the back. You may have won 5 on the trot, but they were all one off games, lets see how you go over two legs, lets do it in the semi's.

i want panathainakos.
however, no game is easy, remember monaco

The disapointment of losing to them in the final would be to much for me so i would rather have them now.

I dont think though that liverpool will have it all their way next time though. United would not throw caution to the wind and attack like they do in the prem, they would be a lot more cautious and probably be more prepared to wait out their chances (and why not with RVN up front). Liverpools counter attacking game would probably not stand up in a game of such importance and i think they have to remember that their last victory was very much against the run of play...

I want them in the quarters and i fancy our chances to.

I think for me is two sides.

I don't want to meet Liverpool because I fear MU win lose again. (I don't want MU lose again to Liverpool anymore)

But i also want to against Liverppol because I hope MU can take a revenge. Also, i think it is more exciting when there are 2 English teams agaginst to each other in European match.
