Can we be informed of deleted/moved topics?

there was a time when i looked for a topic for 2 days straight, only to realize later one of the MODs had deleted it.
Maybe there should be a sticky in this forum informing us which topics have been moved or deleted.

Closed threads do not need notices because we can all see they're locked. But the deleted/moved ones are not very well managed IMHO.

Any ideas MODs?

I too Murt....it is worth leaving things as they are just to know RUnited is looking for something that is not there for 2 days.

And two days straight implies he didn't stop to do anything else!

RU - there usually is a link when topics are moved. In blue. You need to click on it.

RU, we usally PM people when we've deleted a topic (well I do anyway)

The only topic I've ever deleted was the one from that racist prat BAP. I didn't bother to PM him.

If I move them I do a link.

And isn't the point of deleteing a tread NOT to draw attention to it?

i know it sounds funny.. but not when you're looking for a topic you started yourself.

I never got PM for it..

i remember i started a thread about Leverkusen and it got moved without any MOD noticing me.. i became distressed and got a big headache after going as far as page 28 on Manchester United forum only to realize i was looking at threads dated even before i joined RedCafe!

I saw all RUniteds post be moved at random in the future

I tend to PM people a reason why I delete threads if I have to
