Given the speed of the premiership with players like Owen, Henry, Bellamy, Rooney and Smith to name but a few is Blancs time in the premiership over. We now have Brown, Silvestre (who have recently coped with 2 of the fastest players in Henry and Owen)Ferdinand and O'Shea who are very quick, is Blanc now the 5th choice centre-back.I sure Blanc has passed on his vast experience to these young players and would be a great addition to coaching staff for future seasons if we could convince him. I think against players like Sheringham, Flo's i.e. those awkward tall fellows and in Europe he still has a role to play but against teams who rely on quick counter-attacks I think he is a liability. What are your views
The way the defence has been playing recently, I can't see how Blanc can get back in.
i've not seen Owen, Henry, Bellamy, Rooney and Smith etc etc, skin Blanc... even tho he lacks pace..
last time Larry played against Owen, he had him in his pocket..
altho, i agree, i wouldn't change the current back four.. he'll be back, though.. iam sure.

He'll be back so is Keane, Butt & the rest of the gang but I say let them earn thir places back!
