calzaghe vs that reality show yank...

Hopefully. I can't believe this Manfredo cnut had the cheek to call Calzaghe a nobody, the twat doesn't deserve to even be in the same ring as Calzaghe! Should be a great atmosphere in the Millennium Stadium, I'm hoping a mate can sort me out with a ticket so I can go down to Cardiff and watch it. Anyone else going?

Calzaghe was fantastic against lacey and your right s nothing...he has won a reality show thats it... calzaghe is an undefeted world champion... manfredo should shut his gob...
 
I am not even thinking of this fight Calzaghe will walk it. Its after I am looking forward too will he go to the USA for a big fight and who will he fight.
 
i think it is another fight that shows the sad decline of the sport. and didn't this guy only come second in the contender anyway?

Nah, he won it.

But he did have to be reinstated into the show; he was knocked out in the first week by Alfonzo Gomez, only to return when someone withdrew a few weeks later.
 
Ah well didn't the tickets but I'll be watching in front of the tele.

I'll go for Calzaghe to win with an 8th round knockout.

yeah im settled down with a curry... I think its gonna be short fights tonight though... kahn in 3 and calzaghe in 6
 
I was just listening to the Fivelieve commentary and i've got to agree with what they said afterward. There are fighters out ther ein England and the UK who would pose a genuine challenge to Amir Khan, yet he's not taking them.

Am i the only one a bit bored of all these non contests? Granted the Frenchman held out and went the distance, but even so, you know what i mean.

I think thats more down to frank warren than amir kahn...

Id imagine he will have the uk title before the end of the year... and a world title within a year... hos power and speed are just unbelivable for his division... the other bloke actually threw up from one of the body shots... you just dont see that sort of power very often.
 
No doubt who the winner was going to be but that was a poor decision to stop that so early.

92 punches in 90 seconds but he only landed maybe 4. It was a horrible stoppage but Manfredo certainly wasnt going to trouble calzagi
 
Manfredo is an arrogant TV pr1ck who needs to learn how to fight. He thinks that just covering up and slumping and waiting for the Director to say "Cut!" is what goes in a World Title fight.
There ain't no Director, sucker.
If it had carried on he'd be even more damaged than he is ordinarily. I could have done with seeing that. Pleased for Calzaghe though, did what he had to do.
 
amir khan looks extremely talented...and joe....what can you say....manfredo was not in his class...terrible stoppage however, though it would have helped it manfredo would have thrown a punch! he was completely overrawed by the crowd...he has never been booed by 35000 people ever...he was not expecting it
