There's so many top class players up for grabs this season. Just to name a few.

Sanchez
Vidal
Rodriguez
Kroos
Di maria (if you believe reports)
Shaquiri
Ballotelli
Falcao
Suarez

Iv'e probably missed loads, but it's not often so many top class players are on the market.

I don't know how you can say they're "On the market" as such.

Sanchez and Suarez are available for different reasons, but Suarez will only be available to Barcelona.

The rest will only be available if colossal fees are involved, which probably isn;t much different to all players.

Add Fabregas to that list - Moyes was unlucky with his timing

the football wouldnt have been great but he could have signed 4/5 top players

two of these (Sanchez and Vidal especially) would be awesome to add to Herrera & Shaw

Sanchez
Vidal
Rodriguez
Kroos
Di maria
Shaquiri

That just means there are a lot of players available - not that they are available for "a good price".

You forgot Anderson

What is a good price these days?. Just forget about monetary value until someone regulates football. (definitely not Sepp). It just seems unusual so many good players that are on the market, that is all.

Just for hypothetical s sake give it a whirl, you dinosaur.
Not sure why really. There's more money being invested into clubs? Barca and United are two clubs which were always going to spend big this summer, on top of the usual candidates Real/City/Chelsea. Not many of these players are going for cheap though. Some great players are available but they certainly won't go cheap.

It's no secret The PL has just entered a money bags viewing rights contract. As you said, the Spanish duo almost own TV right's in their Country outright. Players like David Luiz moving to PSG is what really distorts the market imo. All this movement from top clubs must be a clever way of still competing at the top level, and also satisfying FFP needs. Can someone expand my list of available players please, it's an unusual market, i tell thee.

Chadli's also available. As is Soldado, for the knockdown price of 20 million.

Not sure what Balotelli and Shaqiri are doing on that list. Most of the guys you named will cost ridiculous amounts of money (if they move at all), so I don't see a huge difference. There are a couple of big moves in every (summer) window.

Both very good players. They would improve almost every team in the Premier League.

Agreed though. Wish i never made this thread now. Tough crowd.

The other good thing for us, which I've not seen anyone mention, is that the pound is so strong at the moment meaning that players from Europe are relatively cheap to buy

That's a fair question. How many top class players were available last season?. Thiago at a push maybe, can't think of many more.

Edit: Apart from Bale of course, and look at what price he went for.

Ooooohhhhh, I dunno, maybe:

Neymar to Barca
Falcao to Monaco
Cavani to PSG
Ozil to Arsenal
Tevez to Juve
Rodriguez to Monaco
Isco to Madrid
Gotze to Bayern

Just off the top of my head here. It happens every single year; this year makes no difference. It does make the game more interesting mind you.

Most players are available for a price. Imo Sanchez is the only name there up for sale and likely to be subject to a bidding war.

I think the main difference this year is that clubs seem to be more open about their talented players being available (even for a massive fee). Hasn't been as many staunch statements saying our player isn't for sale at any price.
