Just reading that Corry Evans made his loan move to Hull permanent... was wondering do we include buy back options in deals for all our academy graduates similar to Real Madrid (i.e. Granero, De La Red etc)?

Sure that I read some where Cathcart and Eagles had some sort of buy back/ first option.

I am pretty sure we do, but if not there will be sell-on clauses where we get a %age of profit on a player. I know we have done this before.

So that's Cory Evans, James Chester, Joe Dudgeon and Cameron Stewart all moved to Hull? Are there any others?

That can only favour Hull with the United lads knowing eachothers games, be interesting to see how they all progress with regular football, although i don't know how Hull line up and whether they'll be first XI/first team squad.

Eikrem has a first option clause apparently, yeah.

Pulis has said something about United having first option on Ryan Shawcross in the past.

Giuseppe Rossi's agent has said something similar I think.

Sylvan Ebanks-Blake had one when he first left, which from the sounds of things was more a sign of respect than us actually thinking he'd be good enough to come back.

We had a % of next sale for Ebanks Blake
We let him go for around 250k .
He has done well for himself.. the injury ruined his chance at united

“I saw Sir Alex at the funeral,” the England Under-21 forward, who made two League Cup appearances for United, said. “I’ve got a lot of respect for him. We had a brief chat. He said congratulations, well done, and not to mess around with his centre halves when we play them. He knows what I’m doing. He put a buy-back clause in my transfer to Plymouth – United had first refusal if I’d scored 100 goals in my first season – and that was a nice touch.”

From the Times a couple years ago.

While signing for Plymouth Argyle is hardly worth celebrating, a funeral seems excessive.
