I'm sure this is a pure coincidence but we have a user as of today called 'Bungle' and it will get very confusing with both names remaining
the same.

Is it normal in such a situation for a user to modify their display name so as not to cause confusion?

After I laughed at Mr. Bungle's little situation in another thread earlier today, I promptly saw a new user named 'wood81'.

I guess I'll have to put a hit on him (ie. send him a computer virus) ;)

Yes! I'm back in! Bad luck everyone, after a frustrating week of exclusion, I finally realised I had to change my password. Time to retire Zechaplunga from the Newbie forum, I think...anyway, 4-0 eh! I don't want mine changed - I want his changed. I've been here since November, he's been here since yesterday.

Cheers. Would it be better though to change it now before 'Bungle' posts many more messages and would be less inclined to change identity?

Hi, just noticed this thread, my name is pure coincidence (wierd nick name given to me by football mates, strangely nothing to do with rainbow - very long story) and I wouldnt object to it being changed to avoid confusion

My favorite was Utdlover. getting Utdlover into a gibbering rage by posting nonsensical rubbish. I'm not sure if he was angry about the imitation or that fact the despite the imposter posting complete gibberish nobody noticed the difference :lol:

There was a pink Hippo called George, Bungle was the bear and Geoffrey was the bloke that looks a little bit like Chris Tarrant.
 
even though my name wasn't originally supposed to be anything to do with Rainbow, now I've got myself into it, may aswell complete the set. I'll be George, just no mentions of me being named after a pink hippo......
