Like it or not we have Liverpool fans on here and we have to take into account that some were either at Hillsborough or affected by it personally. Making comments such as "Burn him" hardly advances the debate and nor does insulting other posters.

The other Hillsborough reference that Wibble mentioned was, as Brad knows, to do with a long debate some time ago when, despite being told by a number of Liverpool fans and others pointing out that the report into the disaster exonerated Liverpool fans from any blame, he continued to argue that ticketless and hooligan fans were partly to blame. This was in my mind when he posted the Intandje topic.

I am not alone amongst the Mods in thinking Brad is high maintenance and IMO it would do himself a huge favour if he, like most other posters, took requests to tone it down words a little more seriously.

I brought Brad back early so he could partake in the build up to the vital MU game and to laugh along with the rest of you at Liverpool letting in 4 goals at home.

I don't want the subject of his banning to take up anymore space than it already has done so this thread will be closed. As Brad has been told, if he wants to discuss my decision further I am quite willing to debate it via PM.

Marching asked me to drop this and not make anything more of it, but then he posts this?!?!

I clearly wasn't banned for the opening post, I was banned for the comment about Marching, and as everyone else has said, that was ludicrous

This Hillsborough snide comments stuff is absolute horse crap. And bullshit Wibble was referring to some thread many months ago, which was in no way a WUM, and contained no snide cheap comments. And I was NOT BELITTLING HILLSBOROUGH IN THE ITANJE THREAD SO STOP MAKING THESE LIES. You had a difference of opinion about how big an overeaction there had been. No WUM at all

I was open to doing this by PM Marching, in fact I even tried to start things afresh with you given you clearly have a big personal problem with me

No doubt I'll be banned again for daring to defend myself against bollocks accusations. It's a shame this is how this place is being run these days

It's absolute bollocks. And clearly not the actual reason I was banned, which was so ludicrous clearly that's why they're persisting with this bollocks instead

I don't actually give a shit about the ban, it's done. We all know the reasons and they were bollocks, but whatever

But I'm not gunna stand by and let someone publish absolute bollocks that I was WUMing about Hillsborough. If you want me to drop this, and I will, 1) stop repeating the lie and 2) how about making it out I didn't actually do that?

we're not here to debate that. Niall agreed to all the admin himself. If he feels there is something wrong he generally says it. Marching made a judgement call, on a sensitive topic. Whether its right or wrong is for him and Brad to sort out between themselves, not to have a 40 page debate about it here.

thats fair enough, but honestly now, if you disagreed with the actions of another mod would you ever say?? i say this because sometimes i think the mods can be a law unto themselves (by sometimes i mean very rarely,but it does happen) eg: i once got an infraction for sending a pm to someone in the matchday thread who asked for a stream, the mod didnt know what was in the pm but infracted me anyway by assumption. I never disputed this infraction but it could be held against me in the future!!
 
I hope this is met with something more imaginative than "if you don't like it no-one's forcing you to stay", but something doesn't sit right with moderation being done behind doors with weak excuses when there are seemingly personal agendas. It would be one thing if it were livvie or GB who gave the ban, but the history between marching and Brad is obvious to anyone, so for other admins to be happy to let marching do whatever he wants then insist it's kept private from the rest is somewhat unsettling to an ordinary forum user, imo.
 
I was just warned from Wibble when I asked for a stream in a matchday thread which, if they are getting legal threats, I have no problem with.

Oh if anyone has a stream for the match tonight PM me.
 
The argument is nothing to do with me but my understanding is that WUM stand for 'Wind Up Merchant' does it not?

So err, how can someone be on a WUM? (Unless there that way inclined)

Are they not on a WU? (or not in this case)

It has transcended its original meaning. It's now to different nouns and a verb. Possibly an adjective too, as in "that's the wummest post I've ever seen".

I made that single post to explain my actions because Wibble was being unfairly drawn into it by you and the beef you have with him.

You are still seeing things you want to see rather than what I actually said...I did not say you were banned for the opening post. Try reading it again.

I also suggested any questions you might have to be relayed by PM to avoid just this very circumstance where it is taking up more space/time than it really deserves...but in true drama queen fashion you just have to ignore the request.

This thread is now closed as is the topic unless, as GB says, you want to take it up with me via PM.
