Biggest college football game of the year.

I think Michigan will win by a field goal.

This may be the best game we have seen in many years. Ohio State-Michigan. #1 versus #2. Both undefeated. Michigan will now have more motivation with the death of Bo Schembechler, (RIP) as he was still an advisor with the program (even had an office in the sports administration building) and was close with the team.

Could a college game get any bigger.... I don't think so....

Fantastic game, really good. Sets up an OSU-USC title game. Watched USC beat Cal later, another pretty good game. USC Song Girls rule!

Michigan stayed at #2, so unless they lose again there might be a rematch for the National Title...

A convincing win over UCLA and any win over Notre Dame would give the Trojans the points needed to jump to number 2 in the BCS poll.

USC will make it to the rose bowl and I fancy them to win it.

Do you think they will fall to Notre Dame? I rather expect to see USC and Ohio State playing in the tax-payers' palace in Glendale, Arizona on January 8.

Well the title game is down to USC, Michigan and florida in that order. I do think USC will lose to the Irish and Florida might lose to the Razorbacks.

That leaves Boise State undefeated and rightful claimants to the title game.

Even Rutgers could end the season undefeated but surely they won't be voted ahead of Michigan or USC.

Rutgers lost to Cincinnati.
Of course Boise wouldn't go. The official factor is "strength of schedule." What this really means is that the established powers will never sign up for a home-and home series with a team like Boise, because the last thing they need is to lose on the road and confirm up and coming programs from "non-BCS" conferences as worthy contenders.

michigan scheduled notre dame and vanderbilt out of conference. usc scheduled notre dame and arkansas out of conference. arkanasas scheduled usc. notre dame scheduled michigan, usc, and penn state.

boise state scheduled mountain west utah and wyoming, oregon state (a legitimate 7-4, but was played at home), and 4-7 division 1-aa sacramento state. no one made them do this.

15-20 teams would be undefeated with that schedule.

Not disagreeing with you Kev, merely pointing out that mid-majors can't really get "strength of schedule" unless they play all out of conference games on the road. USC was willing to go to Arkansas. Would they travel to Boise? Hell no. Notre Dame will play anyone, but is selective on the road portion of the schedule.
When Fresno State (actually Coach Pat Hill) decided to upgrade the Bulldogs opposition, it meant going on the road to Oklahoma, Wisconsin (several times), Ohio State, Auburn, UCLA, USC, and Oregon (among others). The only one that repaid Hill with a trip to Fresno was Oregon. There remains a vested interest by the current "power conferences" to maintain the imbalance.

there's probably a little truth in that. ohio state played a home and home with texas. michigan and notre dame play every year, as do usc and notre dame and the florida schools. i can't believe there was no major school that was willing to do a home and home with boise.

boise knows that it is up against it every year because it plays in a weak conference. so why schedule a 1-aa school, and a bad one at that? the fact is, teams like michigan or florida will have to play a power on the road, every year, and probably more than one by virtue of playing in the big 10 or the sec. the only way boise will play a power on the road is by scheduling one out of conference, something they seemingly will not do. the fact is, boise is interested in making a bcs game, not a national title one, and the way they do that is by going undefeated against cupcakes like sacramento state and hosting the occasional filler power conference team like oregon state. playing in a major conference, boise is at best a 7-4 team and no one talks about them playing in a bcs bowl.

With their current players, maybe. Playing in a major conference, however, Boise might be able to attract more blue chips--even without, they are more than a match for the bottom half of the SEC, Big 10, Big 12, or Pac-10, even with that crappy blue Smurf turf and being situated in the capital of the Potato State.

OSU-USC for the title will be a good game. If it is half as good as last years title game then it'll be a cracker
